The famous Saint-Rémy-de-Provence
A 15-minute drive away is Saint-Rémy-de-Provence. The city is known for having hosted Vincent Van Gogh for a year and for having inspired some of his most famous works. We advise you to visit: Saint-Paul de Mausole (monastery which hosted Van Gogh), the Estrine museum, as well as “Les Antiques” (historical monuments at the entrance to Glanum).
The village of Eygalières and its point of view
Very close to La Méridienne, stands the charming village of Eygalières, at the top of its small hill. Going up in the old town, at the top of the village, you will observe the ruins of the castle, the old keep, the Saint-Laurent church and the clock tower, but above all you will get one of the most beautiful points of view of the region on the Alpilles massif and Mont Ventoux.
